I took nonsense words and made them into folklore creatures!

Collywobbles-

A combination of a rabbit and a collie, that lives deep within the forest. They only come out during dusk to collect berries from trees. They are dangerous and have very sharp teeth under their innocent appearance

Gardyloo-

A sea serpent living in the seas of Wales, that has big giant long dorsal fin spikes along it’s back, and a fin shaped tail. This creature can be recognized in the water looking most like a shark’s fin in the water swimming along with various boats in the Welsh lake Liyn Tegid.

These creatures are dangerous to come across, as they are known to sometimes attack docks, and fish nets around them. Getting hit by the creature’s tail is as powerful as a tanker truck, and the creature is also known to breathe green fire that can destroy anything in its path and can stretch across a whole city block.

The Fisherman of Wales find it very complicated to go fishing as this creature seems to be in multiple lakes. The Gardyloo has a set of two hind legs, and long arms that can retract into its snake like body when it swims, making it more flexible to swim.

The creature is known to eat fish, animals near the lakeside, and even people who swim in the lake.

Scientists believe this creature has hailed from a group of serpents dating back to the Jurassic time period, of a species called Verperiotious that has been dormant ever since a 1955 boat crash in the Mediterranean Sea, involving seven missing fishermen, and their boat chewed to pieces.

Cattywampus-

A feline like creature that lives in the swamps. Combination of a cat, an alligator, a frog, and a bear, that boroughs under the mud under the marshes of South America. These creatures are famous for attacking boats, stealing food, and attacking small domestic animals.

They are very famous for emerging from back yard marshes and eating pets. They can climb trees, as they are mainly amphibious, yet they still manage to prey upon birds and other small animals.

Hunters find it very complicated to catch them, as this species hides under the swamp waters and mud to bury itself until nightfall, where they hunt their prey.

Tourists have encountered this creature on trips, as they are famous for causing havoc on land and sea, protecting its territory from intruders.

Snollygoster-

Hailing from the deep parts of the African jungle, this half, elephant, half, goose hybrid has been rumored to dwell within the caves of Ethiopia where this creature stays dormant. The Snollygoster has only been seen by a few hunters but is widely known by the tribes who hail from that area.

They say that the creature is very friendly and means no harm unless it is attacked. The Snollygoster is an herbivore as it uses it’s long trunk with a gooses beak at the edge to pick food from trees, as it mainly eats berries, bananas and other African plants.

Impignorate-

An iguana like pig creature hailing from a farm along the Gulf of Mexico that was caught in a radiated blast from a nuclear testing site.

This creature is very aggressive when provoked, as it charges with tusks and eats its prey with its long tongue. The impignorate is a land-living species that feeds off farm animals and lakeside fish.

Hunters are always skeptical if the creature is a mammal or an amphibious creature, due to the spikes along its back, its frilled cheeks, and the sharp teeth. While, farmers always take precautions on having their animals near the water, where they are most vulnerable and can be dragged into the marsh.

Bumfuzzel-

An English goblin from the sewers of Liverpool, that was created during the battles of WW2.

This creature is a hairy looking ball of fur with very sharp teeth, and long claws. They mainly conceal themselves in trashcans, as they wait for people to pass by.

The Bumuzzel loves to feast on sweets and is very famous for stealing food from other people. The legend says that these creatures are very addicted to sweets, and they go full rage our on anyone who tries to get in their way.

These creatures have been known to harm others with their sharp teeth and claws and can cause serious damages to furniture or vehicles.

Flibbertigibbet-

A frog like duck creature from the lakes of Manchester. This English dwelling amphibious bird is very fond of saltine crackers tourists throw and loves to eat tea cakes.

This animal is not violent or deadly in any way possible. The Flibbergibbet is a peaceful species of amphibious bird, that happens to have hideous bulging frog eyes, and webbed fingers at the edge of its wings.

These creatures were discovered in 1926 after a scientist was seen letting two of these animals out into the open water, after he discovered there was a mutation issue. The animal was deemed to be dangerous until it was seen in its natural habitat in the lakes of Manchester.

Today, the animal has made several offspring and continues to live a peaceful life in the safety of the lakes, away from harm.
